August 2023: Thank you to the Marlboro softball league and the Marlboro MVP softball league who raised money for the foundation at their annual Mayor’s Trophy Game. It was an incredible event! Special thank you to New York Jet Hall of Famer Joe Klecko who made an appearance!

May 2023: The Sigma Chi chapter at Cornell University organized a week long philanthropy event known as Derby Days. This is an annual fundraiser, but in light of the recent tragedy, the fraternity decided to donate a majority of the money raised to the Matthew Friedman Memorial Foundation. One activity of the event included Miles for Matt in which fraternities and sororities ran miles to raise money.
